Artist’s Resources
Places to Sell Your Artwork (These are also great places to shop!)
Allows artists to submit samples of their work, upon approval you will get to sell your work with a 60/40 split (you getting 60%, them getting 40% of the total sales).
Another place that allows you to submit samples of your work. (The following was taken from their FAQ page)Because Pixelgirl Shop sells two different kinds of items (fragile fine art and handmade goods) the shipping and commission varies from item to item. (They) can send you a contract that explains the different percentages (they) use.
I love Etsy, I sell things there and the people that sell there sell really gorgeous things. They charge a small fee for listing and I think they take a small percentage of all sales, but it works out to be really cheap all things considered. I love this place.
I have a Cafe Press store, I’ve never ordered or sold anything through them, but I know that many people use this site with great results. This is a cheap, easy way to put your work on clothing, cups, etc without having to print them yourself.
A fantastic way to get visitors to your site (be it artwork, music or zine-I’m pretty sure you can take advantage of the Sampler). This site allows you to make small samples of your work (small prints, magnets, keychains, buttons, postcards, sample zines, etc) you then send them to the Sampler (after signing up and being approved). They take these samples and mix them into mailing kits from many other artists and companies just like you and yours and send them out to people that pay money to get these samplers. You don’t make direct money off of this, it’s meant as a promotional tool only.
This site allows you to make your own vector designs, submit them to the site where other members and visitors vote on the designs. The designs with the most votes are made in to t-shirts which are sold on the site. Occasionally they have contests with bands and other companies to design shirts for them as well.
